CeBIT 2002: Trend towards Complete Solutions confirmed
Internet-Manager and Internet in-a-box for international markets

The trend towards completely preconfigured overall solutions that are easy to set up and easy to maintain was confirmed at the CeBIT. With Internet-Manager and Internet in-a-box Nutzwerk offers optimized products for connecting entire networks with the internet. Both products support HTTP, POP, SMTP, DNS, Proxy, firewall, backup, and remote administration. A built-in eMail client with address management is provided. Online filters protect the internet access from misuse. Administration is done entirely through an ordinary internet browser. The entire system can be administrated without expert knowledge.

At the world's biggest computer trade fair, CeBIT, products from Nutzwerk could be seen at several stands. Both the product integrator ebase from Oldenburg and the hardware producer and distributor Megware from Chemnitz presented solutions based on Nutzwerk technologies. A new addition is the distributor KingSeven. They got a distribution license for Austria.

Nutzwerk used the CeBIT to make international contacts. "Our solution is especially interesting for technologically emerging countries that do not have systems houses all over the place. The companies in these countries want to use internet and eMail as quickly as possible at a good value for money", said CEO René Holzer at the CeBIT. "Of course, these countries have the same worries and problems when connecting complete networks to the internet. But a company in Lithuania cannot afford a firewall for 10,000 dollars", continues Holzer.

The talks received a positive response. Partner offers from Nutzwerk go from placing an ad banner at the partner site up to the independent production by the partner in their home country. Several companies took the solution back to their country in order to test the acceptance on the market. Nutzwerk offers various partners an exclusive general license per country or region.

"Why shouldn't a partner in Chile support the whole of South America. For us it is important that the end user can talk to the partner in their national language", says assistant manager Thomas Kuwatsch about the strategy for the international distribution. "Nutzwerk delivers everything, including the product and the marketing material to the partner, all from one source. The partner can even use the entire logistics of our online shop. If necessary we even deliver as far as Greenland", continues Kuwatsch.
