Nutzwerk Laboratory tests Supplementary Devices for Internet in-a-box and Internet-Manager
Nutzwerk runs a quality test to find out the best products for their system partners.
After Nutzwerk started their production of Internet in-a-box and the software solution Internet-Manager on August 12, 2001, they found several dozens of system partners within only a few weeks. Thanks to their value for money, the solution packages by Nutzwerk are unique on the market. Especially smaller companies, administrative bodies, schools, and public institutions can connect entire networks to the internet within only a few minutes – simple, fast, and secure. There is no need for profound computer knowledge. All functions, including eMail management, firewall, filters and router functionality are maintained using an ordinary internet browser.
After the first products had been sold, there was a great demand for more solutions that would supplement the individual functions. For example, Nutzwerk noticed an increased interest in wireless functionality. Internet-Manager and Internet in-a-box offer the possibility to use ISDN, xDSL and modem as well as external routers for internet access. A change of access type can even be made during operation. "Now our clients do not want to network all computers in their companies any more or to take the trouble of cabling newly added PCs. Of course, a wireless solution presents itself in this case", says product manager Olaf Berliner.
In order to open up this line of business to their system partners as well, the Nutzwerk laboratories are going to determine the best and most reliable wireless LAN router. After the test Nutzwerk is going to recommend the use of these devices to their partners. Even a direct support is planned for.
"With our solutions we offer the basis for a secure use of the internet in entire networks. Following that, more business divisions are going to open up to our system partners. The best reference still is an installation without problems and to be able to start within a few minutes. It's only natural that the users of our products wished for more products. The successor products should work just as simple, secure and fast. These are exactly the premises we are going to use for the test before giving a recommendation to our system partners", says CEO René Holzer.
Nutzwerk is planning to combine further product groups with Internet in-a-box and Internet-Manager. After the first step that requires approximately one month of testing, products for virtual private networks and the whole range of routers for system partners are going to follow.
