Live-CD-ROM for Internet in-a-box / Internet-Manager
Server application test without installation on the hard disk.

Today Nutzwerk GmbH started to deliver a CD-ROM to partners and potential end users that shows all functions of Internet in-a-box and Internet-Manager without installation on the hard disk. This is done by simulating a hard disk in the memory. The Live-CD comes not only with the application functionality, but also with a complete Linux operating system.

The Live-CD is included with the current SuSE Linux Distribution 7.3. "Every user can now test our software within 5 minutes without being afraid of damaging their PC by a test installation", says Nutzwerk founder Ramona Wonneberger.

The CD-ROM automatically recognizes the built-in hardware and offers all functions in the test environment without restrictions. The copy protection is realized by a self-developed method. For permanent use the user just has to get a license key from the internet.

"For the first time we offer a test environment for a Linux server application that works on a Windows PC, too", says René Holzer, CEO of Nutzwerk. "With the Live-CD we offer our partners and distributors a solution that can easily be enclosed with products like ISDN cards or routers. This way we bring our product very close to the end user. The test is without risk, and licensing can be done online", continues Holzer.

The Live-CD can be used either in English or in German. The English version of the product is also included with the Caldera Solution Showcase CD-ROM. Caldera delivers professional Linux applications mainly to the American and Canadian market.
