Press release February 17, 2000

CeBIT 2000
Intelligent internet box represented at the CeBIT four times.

One of the new trends at the CeBIT 2000 is going to be "Internet in a box". This stands for preconfigured systems that allow for a fast and easy connection of existing networks to the internet. However, the best internet in a box is no use if its operation is too complicated. This is where the internet operating system OrangeGate of the Nutzwerk company comes in: All functions of the internet are brought together under an easy to operate interface in the browser of the user. The technology is based entirely on introduced standards.

At the computer trade fair CeBIT the developments with OrangeGate functionality are presented at four stands. The overall solutions that will be introduced have the following outstanding features:

· Immediately usable
· Definition of internet times for all employees
· Statistics who was when and where in the internet
· Blocking of defined pages with filters
· eMail and short messages for all employees
· Administration next to none
· No software installation on individual workstations
· All functions available in every standard browser
· Independent of the operating system
· Existing eMail programs can still be used
· Integration of additional employees without extra costs
