No installation
In order to be protected whenever you access the web or your mailbox, first register with SaferSurf. Once you have received your access data, you change the settings in your internet browser or eMail program.

Automatic setup
After the registration you receive a setup program for the Internet Explorer and MS Outlook. This program automatically sets up everything for SaferSurf.

Independent integration
SaferSurf supports free mail services like Hotmail.com or Yahoo Mail as well as internet providers like AOL, MSN or EarthLink. Since it works without installation, SaferSurf is independent of the operating system being used.

Suitable for DSL
SaferSurf is inserted between your internet connection and your computer. It does not matter if you access the internet via modem or DSL.

Internet connection as usual
You keep your usual programs for surfing and mailing. From now on, if you load files from the web or by eMail, they are checked automatically. If SaferSurf finds a virus, the file is not loaded. Instead it shows a warning.

Speed up the data stream
If desired, SaferSurf compresses the data received from the internet. An acceleration of up to 10 times was reached by testing websites which were text-based with minimal images. In practice you will see that the loading times for the display of an internet page are considerably less.
