If you are testing Internet-Manager from the Live-CD, you do not need a license. For permanent operation, however, you should install Internet-Manager on a hard disk.
In order to be able to work with Internet-Manager, you need a license number and a pre-installed network card. You can get a valid license number from the internet at www.nutzwerk.com. If there is a license number printed on your CD-ROM, please use this one.
To license your product:
- Functioning online access
- Got a license number? If not, www.nutzwerk.com
- Menu option >Main Management<, >System<, >Settings<
- Open new browser window, go to www.nutzwerk.com and choose 'Online license'
- Enter host ID and license number to show a product key
- Enter product key into Internet-Manager
After the product key has been confirmed, all menu options will be visible immediately. For more information about further usage, refer to the manual or the HelpMe directory.
After accessing the system for the first time or if you are working with an unlicensed version, Internet-Manager starts in single user mode. In this mode only the licensing menu options are available. Among other things you can set up a functioning online access.
