Nutzwerk has been developing base technologies for the internet since 1997. The aim of Nutzwerk is to combine all internet services and protocols and offer them to the user independent of the system. Everything works without installation of additional software. This technology is the basis for innovative products, from security solutions up to and including complete systems that are fully operational immediately.

In 1998 René Holzer, founder of Nutzwerk, invented a real-time data filter that analyzes and evaluates the contents of data streams. It is protected by patent under number DE 10048113. Nutzwerk uses it to identify viruses in real-time and to eliminate them without the users having to install anti-virus software on their computer. Critical contents like extremist sites, swastikas, pornographic pages and even ad banners are recognized and, if desired, blocked from transfer.

The transfer of big files like videos and music files can be blocked if they might cause a network overload. For example, it is possible to convert a picture of Adolf Hitler into a dove of peace – in real-time.

The real-time data filter also checks all outgoing data. This prevents any credit card numbers from leaving a private PC without consent of the user.

Nutzwerk considers itself a leading-edge research and technology company. Patents for independent technologies have been applied worldwide. The related products and services are marketed independently. A close-knit partner and cooperation network grants access to various target groups.
